1. Q. How many days will a sunless tan last?

A. The longevity of a sunless tan depends on the skin's natural exfoliation process and on the skincare regimen followed before and after application. On average, a spray tan will last 5-7 days. Following a good skin care regimen before and after sunless tanning will help a sunless tan last longer. Exfoliating prior to a sunless tanning application and keeping skin moisturized afterwards are essential.

2. Q. How long should I wait after getting my sunless tan before I shower?

A. You need to wait at least 4 hours before coming in contact with water. After 8 hours, your tan will have fully processed. Try to refrain from physical activity that could result in you sweating until you shower and wash off the top layer.

3. Q. What do I wear during the sunless tanning application?

A. You can wear as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. If you decide to wear anything during the tan, it will wash out when you wash your clothes.

4. Q. Will the sunless tan from a spray tanning application get on my clothes?

A. If you are using a solution with a cosmetic bronzer, some of the bronze color may rub off on clothing or bed sheets. To minimize the chance of the tint transferring to clothing, we recommend that you wear loose-fitting, darker clothes after your spray session.

5. Q. Does the sunless tan smell?

A. The solution we use uses the newest technology in odor inhibitors to encapsulate the odor causing agents commonly associated with DHA products. We then blend the fragrance with DHA in a manor which allows the pleasant fragrance of raspberry and almonds to come through, eliminating the dreaded "sunless smell".

6. Q. How do I prep for the sunless session?

A. You should exfoliate before every sunless session. Using a mild shower gel/exfoliant can be done one day prior to the session. If using a salt scrub, this must be done 24-48 hours prior to the session, otherwise the oils within the salt scrub will effect the sunless results. You need to shave anywhere you would normally shave. Do not wear any lotion or oils the day of the tan. It's best not to wear deodorant or make-up during the sunless session to guarantee the best application.

7. Q. Will solution stain my hair?

A. No. Most people will not see any affect on the color of their hair. If you have light blonde, gray or platinum hair, you may see some discoloration from the cosmetic bronzers initially, however, this color will wash out with the first shower after the session.

8. Q. How should I care for my tan?

A. Don't use any bar soap because it will strip your tan. It's best to use liquid soap. When showering, use your hand or a wash cloth to bathe, don't use a loofa until your tan starts to fade and then start exfoliating so the tan will fade evenly. Put lotion on after every shower to keep your skin hydrated and maximize the longevity of your tan.

9. Q. Will I turn "orange"?

A. No. We use a perfectly blended solution of our cosmetic bronzer to give you that "just off the beach" look.

10. Q. Can pregnant women be safely sprayed?

A. As you would before using any product if you are pregnant, it's recommended that you consult with your personal physician before tanning. However, our solution is a non-toxic, food grade product that is not known to have any negative effects on an expectant mother.

11. Q. Is a DHA spray tan safe for a diabetic person?
